Introducing r/OneBrandRule

We started a subreddit: r/OneBrandRule.

Diffr runs on one idea simple enough to live without an app: pick one good brand per category, and stop re-deciding. The One-Brand Rule. We wanted a room for the people who already think this way — and the people tired of the alternative — to compare notes. So we built one.

What It’s For

r/OneBrandRule is a community for decide-once shopping. The kind of thing that belongs there:

• “What’s the one ___ for a beginner?” — the single-best-answer question, for any category. Running shoes, a chef’s knife, a winter coat, a first skincare routine.
• Your own one-per-slot picks — the brands you committed to and never looked back on, and why they earned it.
• Pushback on choice overload — the review rabbit holes, the fake-difference traps, the categories where “it depends” is a cop-out and there really is a sane default.

It is the opposite of a deal-hunting sub. Nobody is chasing the last three percent. The whole point is to stop optimizing and start deciding — find the good-enough-forever answer and reclaim the hours you were spending on the search.
